How should I dress?

However you feel most comfortable. We do not have a dress code. Some worship in jeans and sneakers, others worship in suits and leather-soled shoes. We don’t believe that Jesus cares what you wear, and neither do we.

Do you ask visitors to stand?

Yes, to encourage fellowship we do ask visitors to stand but is solely at their option. It is most important to us that visitors be able to worship intimately and comfortably. If you elect not to stand during the service we hope that you will introduce yourselves to us after the worship service. We love to see new faces.

What time are your worship services?

Our Sunday School services for children begin at 9:30am. Our Sunday Church services begin at 11:00am. For more information, please visit our Services page.

How long does your worship service last?

Our Sunday Worship services last approximately 2 hours.

What translation of the Bible do you use?

Although we use the King James version, you are welcome to use any that you are comfortable with.

Do you offer a weekly Bible Study?

Yes, our weekly Bible Study services are held every Wednesday at 7:00pm. Bible Study services last for approximately 60 minutes.

What must I do to become a member of Olney Street?

Membership involves a couple of steps. The first is the confession of Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. The second requires the completion of a couple of courses that familiarize, or refresh, you with the basic tenets of the Baptist Church.

When does Baptism take place?

Baptisms take place as needed on the 1st Sunday of the month during our Sunday Church worship service. For more details about Baptism, please visit our Baptism & Fellowship Page.
